Since November 2024, DM Group Services (DMGS) has transformed its energy landscape by 
switching to a cleaner energy solution: solar power. Our Singapore office is now powered by rooftop photovoltaic (PV) panels, marking a significant milestone in our sustainability journey.
A Commitment to Clean Energy with Measurable Impact
Perched atop the DMGS facility, a sprawling array of 235 PV panels harnesses the sun’s energy, converting it into clean, renewable electricity for our 15,000-square-foot facility. This strategic move significantly reduces our carbon footprint, demonstrating our commitment to environmental stewardship as part of our holistic sustainability approach. For DMGS, sustainability isn’t merely a corporate initiative—it’s a core value and a commitment to environmental leadership.
Recent data across three billing cycles reveals impressive progress:
- Increasing self-consumption: Over 60% of our
energy use—including the charging of our
electric vehicle—is now powered by our own on-site solar generation. - Decreasing grid dependency: DMGS is achieving greater energy independence.
- Surplus supply contribution: Approximately 70% of the solar power generated is exported to our national grid operator, SP Group, which then makes it available to consumers.
During periods of lower solar production, our system seamlessly transitions to grid power, which is also sourced entirely from renewables. This not only reinforces our commitment to environmental sustainability but also supports the nation’s transition to a greener energy future.
